Washington Announces Fan Experience Enhancements for Football Gamedays; LED stadium lights, Walkthru-Bru concessions and additional fan experience activities.

SEATTLE – The 2023 University of Washington football season will feature exciting and innovative fan experience updates. The installation of LED lights transform Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium and provide fans with a high-quality and sustainable lighting solution. Instant on/off and color takeover capabilities will greatly enhance team entrances, trigger reactive lighting patterns on scoring plays, and elevate synchronized music sequences at key moments throughout each Husky Football home game. LED Lights New LED lights have been installed at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. The lights will not only greatly enhance gameday energy and the fan experience inside Husky Stadium, but the technology also supports our focus on sustainability. Complete with instant on/off and color takeover capabilities, new LED lighting will enhance team entrances, trigger reactive lighting patterns on scoring plays, and elevate synchronized music sequences at key moments throughout each Husky Football home game. KultureCity, a leading nonprofit on sensory accessibility and acceptance, will be providing sensory inclusive bags for fans. Walkthru-Bru Concessions This season, Aramark has installed three Brew-Thru concession locations for fans to purchase refreshments. Each location includes opportunities for Husky fans to purchase beverages in grab-and-go experience. The point-of-sale and checkout process is simple, fast and allows fans to buy concessions and quickly return to cheering on the Huskies. Montlake Memories Formerly called Purple & Gold Experiences, Montlake Memories will have many new & improved selections this fall and give Husky fans the best gameday experience possible by offering exclusive opportunities, behind-the-scenes access and lifetime memories at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. REVELxp Fans are now able to enjoy tailgating on Rainier Vista through a new partnership with REVELxp, official experience partner of Washington Athletics. REVELxp, the revolutionary fan experience and hospitality company for sports and entertainment brands, will provide fans with a modernized, full-service tailgating solution for home football games, large scale hospitality offerings and ticket packages tailored for groups and bundled experiences. Pledge Per Touchdown The new Pledge Per Touchdown campaign gives Husky fans a chance to make an impact for student-athletes every time the Huskies reach the endzone, all while earning priority points and preparing for the upcoming reallocation process. To learn more about the campaign, please visit GoHuskies.com/PledgePerTD. Cashless Transactions Husky Stadium has moved to card-only transactions at concessions and the Ticket Office. This helps reduce wait times and get you back to your seats faster. Additionally, parking is cashless and fans will need to use the Pay-By-Phone App to purchase parking in select parking lots on central and west campus. The water taxi in Husky Harbor has also gone cashless. The Zone presented by Toyota Opening two hours before kickoff, The Zone is a free pregame destination to meet up with friends and family. Featuring entertainment, food trucks, and fun at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. VIP ZonePasses provide private, exclusive access beginning two hours prior to kickoff until the beginning of the third quarter. VIP ZonePasses include satellite TV service, beverages including beer, wine and a wide selection of liquor, private restrooms, exit and re-entry privileges and fun games. The Zone is a can't-miss attraction. The Zone is part of Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium and requires a ticket for entry, and the no re-entry policy applies to this area as well. Dawg Walk 2023 marks the second year of the relocated Dawg Walk. This is a can't-miss part of gameday at the Dawg Pack (West) entrance two hours and 25 minutes prior to kickoff. The team buses will park on Montlake Boulevard and the team enters the Greatest Setting, all while Husky Nation sings "Bow Down to Washington" along with the Husky Marching Band and UW Spirit Squad. Raise The Woof! As a reminder, UW Athletics will host Raise the Woof! on Friday, August 25. "Raise the Woof! is an annual UW football preseason celebration since 2009. Join the entire Husky roster and coaching staff for a dinner catered by Jack's BBQ, and then enjoy your introduction to the 2023 Husky squad. Raise the Woof! is a ticketed event.
